Checked on 27 October 2026. Three of the four were for people who already had an account; only Invite Friends paid a new customer, and only one invited by a referrer Neteller had selected. None was a public offer anyone could claim by signing up.
How did Neteller's Invite Friends referral bonus work?
Neteller's Invite Friends programme paid a referred friend USD 5 and the referrer USD 10 per friend, for the first 30 friends and at most USD 300, between 21 July and 21 September 2026 (terms, checked on 27 October 2026). The promoters were Paysafe Financial Services Limited and Paysafe Payment Solutions Limited.
The friend had to complete five steps within the programme period (clause 4.1.2):
- receive the invite link directly from a referrer,
- register a new Neteller account through that link,
- enter the referrer's unique referral code on Neteller's page,
- complete identity verification,
- make at least three eligible transactions, each a payment of at least USD 20 to an eligible merchant (clause 5.1).
Neteller paid the bonuses within 10 days, in USD (clauses 6.1 and 6.4); refunded payments, chargebacks and payments to excluded merchants did not count. This is the only place a "Neteller referral code" applied: the code belonged to an invited referrer, worked only with that referrer's link and expired with the programme.
Did Neteller's promotions exclude betting merchants?
Yes: Neteller's Invite Friends programme of July to September 2026 excluded payments to one named betting operator (clause 7), and the Rewards promotion of December 2024 to January 2025 excluded 24 named merchants, forex and trading brokers alongside at least five betting brands (clause 5(d)), according to the terms checked on 27 October 2026.
The March 2026 Account Bonus named no excluded merchants, but let any merchant ask to be left out (clause 7). So a payment to a betting site counted in some Neteller promotions and not in others, and only the merchant list in each promotion's terms told you which.
Skrill's current offer reads differently: the Mission Deposit Bonus terms say that "at the time these Terms and Conditions are published, there are no Excluded Merchants" (clause 6.2, terms checked on 27 October 2026), although Skrill may add merchants later. The "10 euro" figure that people attach to Neteller matches a Skrill offer instead. Skrill's Mission Deposit Bonus pays 10,000 Knect points with a redemption value of EUR 10, but only for a deposit of at least EUR 10 and a merchant payment of at least EUR 10 within 30 days of registering, so it is not a no-deposit offer either (clauses 2.2 and 4.1, checked on 27 October 2026).
