Neteller fees are 2.5% for a top-up by card, Trustly or international bank transfer, 1.75% (at least USD 3.50) for a bank withdrawal since 12 January 2026 and up to 3.99% for currency conversion, according to Neteller's fee page checked on 27 October 2026. This guide is for bettors who want to know what a full round trip costs before they open or fund a wallet: every fee in one table, worked examples, the VIP rates, the cheapest route and the figures older guides get wrong. It covers Neteller outside the US.

Key takeaways

  • Neteller charges 2.5% to top up by card, Trustly or international bank transfer and 0–1% from a local bank, according to its fee page checked on 27 October 2026.
  • Since 12 January 2026 a bank withdrawal costs 1.75% with a USD 3.50 minimum, so USD 20 costs USD 3.50 (17.5%), and the flat USD 10 that older guides quote is gone.
  • Currency conversion costs up to 3.99%, USD 3.99 on a USD 100 payment, and 3.19% to 1.29% for VIP members from USD 15,000 a quarter.
  • Moving money between Neteller and Skrill costs 3.49% in either direction.
  • After 6 months without a login or a transaction Neteller deducts USD 5 a month, and since 1 April 2026 the Net+ card charges 0.50%, at least USD 1.00, on money received.

Neteller is the Paysafe Group's second e-wallet, next to Skrill. In the EEA accounts are held with Paysafe Payment Solutions Limited (Central Bank of Ireland, C184986), in the UK and most other countries with Paysafe Financial Services Limited (FCA FRN 900015).

Checked on 27 October 2026 on Neteller's fee page and Neteller's VIP page. A dash means the page lists no separate rate; the VIP page adds discounted deposits and withdrawals at the VIP manager's decision. The top-up methods you see depend on your country.

What are Neteller's deposit fees?

Neteller charges 2.5% to top up by Visa, Mastercard, Trustly, international bank transfer and most other listed methods, and 0–1% from a local bank, according to its fee page checked on 27 October 2026. A USD 100 card top-up costs USD 2.50, while the same top-up from a local bank costs at most USD 1.00. Paysafecard costs 0–5% and MB WAY, a Portuguese method, 0%. This is where Neteller differs most from Skrill, which lists 0% for bank transfers and up to 1.25% for cards. Every method, country by country, is in how to top up Skrill and Neteller.

How much is the Neteller withdrawal fee?

Neteller charges 1.75%, at least USD 3.50, to withdraw to a bank account, a fee it introduced on 12 January 2026, and its help page says the money takes 1 to 5 business days to arrive (fee page and Neteller help, checked 27 October 2026). The minimum makes small withdrawals expensive:

Withdrawal (USD)Fee (USD)Fee as a share of the withdrawal
203.5017.5%
1003.503.5%
2003.501.75%
5008.751.75%
1,00017.501.75%

Calculated from Neteller's fee page, checked on 27 October 2026.

The minimum stops mattering from USD 200, because 1.75% of USD 200 is exactly USD 3.50. Older guides still quote a flat USD 10 for a Neteller bank withdrawal; the fee page has said 1.75% with a USD 3.50 minimum since 12 January 2026. Against that USD 10, the current fee is lower up to about USD 571 and higher above it. A bank withdrawal cannot be cancelled once started and goes only to a personal account in your own name (Neteller help). Withdrawals to a Visa or Mastercard cost 0–3.99%, to the Net+ card 0–1.75%, a Member Wire USD 12.75. Timing by route is in Skrill and Neteller withdrawals.

What are Neteller's transfer fees?

Sending money to another Neteller user costs 2.99%, at least USD 0.50, receiving it costs nothing, and a transfer between Neteller and Skrill costs 3.49% in either direction (Neteller's and Skrill's fee pages, checked 27 October 2026). Neteller True accounts pay 1.45% to send. Neteller's VIP page lists transfers at no fee for VIP members, with a 1.45% fee in certain countries and levels. Keeping both wallets is common, but fund each from your bank: a USD 500 move from one to the other costs USD 17.45.

What is Neteller's currency conversion fee?

Neteller adds up to 3.99% to a currency conversion on a standard account, so a USD 100 payment from a wallet held in another currency costs up to USD 3.99 extra (fee page, checked 27 October 2026). VIP levels lower it. Neteller's VIP page sets the level by your volume in a quarter:

LevelVolume in a quarter (USD)Conversion feeFee on USD 1,000 converted (USD)
Standard–up to 3.99%up to 39.90
Silver15,0003.19%31.90
Gold45,0002.79%27.90
Diamond150,0002.39%23.90
Exclusive600,0001.29%12.90

Checked on 27 October 2026 on Neteller's VIP page.

Payments to merchants count towards the volume; Net+ card payments and transfers between users, including between your own accounts, do not (VIP terms, section 9.1). Neteller's fee page says VIP members pay "as little as 1%", while its VIP page lists 1.29% for the top level; we quote the VIP page.

What are the Neteller card fees?

The Net+ Prepaid Mastercard costs USD 10 to apply for and USD 10 a year, and since 1 April 2026 Neteller also charges 0.50%, at least USD 1.00, on money received on the card (fee page, checked 27 October 2026). Any load up to USD 200 therefore costs USD 1.00. Cash machine withdrawals cost 1.75% (minimum USD 1.00), payments in another currency 3.99%, shop and online purchases carry no fee, and the first virtual card carries no charge. The physical card is limited to residents of authorised EEA countries and the UK (Neteller help).

Does Neteller charge an inactivity fee?

Neteller deducts a service fee of USD 5.00 (or the equivalent) every month once a personal account has gone 6 months without a login or a transaction, according to its fee page checked on 27 October 2026. Older guides say the fee starts after 12 months; the page says 6. One login every 6 months avoids it.

What does a full round trip cost?

A USD 100 round trip through Neteller costs USD 3.50 to 4.50 when you top up from a local bank and pay in your wallet currency, and up to USD 9.99 when you top up by card and pay in another currency (fee page, checked 27 October 2026):

StepRoute A: local bank, same currency (USD)Route B: card, another currency (USD)

Calculated from Neteller's fee page, checked on 27 October 2026. If money comes back in the other currency, Neteller converts it again.

How do Neteller's fees compare with Skrill's?

Neteller is cheaper to convert currency and Skrill is cheaper to top up: conversion costs up to 3.99% at Neteller against 4.49% at Skrill, a card top-up 2.5% against up to 1.25% (both fee pages, checked 27 October 2026).

What is the cheapest way to use Neteller?

The cheapest Neteller route is a wallet in the currency you pay in, topped up from a local bank at 0–1%, with withdrawals of USD 200 or more so the USD 3.50 minimum stops mattering (fee page, checked 27 October 2026). Pick the currency when you open a Neteller account, avoid card top-ups at 2.5% where a local bank method exists, and check whether a bookmaker pays winnings back to the wallet or only to a bank, as Skrill and Neteller for betting explains. On 27 October 2026 Neteller had no offer for new customers to offset the fees; its last Invite Friends programme ran from 21 July to 21 September 2026 (terms), and what is live now is in Neteller bonus and promo codes. If the fees fit how you pay, open a Neteller account; our Neteller review covers security, VIP and support.
